At Efficient Designs, we follow a simple and efficient process to ensure that your home retrofit project is completed on time and within budget. Our process includes preconstruction design, design and construction estimate, on-site consultations, and the finishing touches.
Home HVAC installations are unique to each household because every home has its own of requirements. The size of the home, the number of rooms, and even the climate in which the home is located all play a role in determining the type and size of HVAC system that is needed. As a result, it's important for HVAC contractors to take into account all of these factors in order to install a system that meets the specific needs of the household. Efficient Designs uses Manual J, the most accurate way of estimating the amount of BTU's needed per room.
Preconstruction Design and Sizing
We begin by working with you to develop a preconstruction design that meets your specific needs and goals, as well as looking at electrical spacing in your panel. This includes assessing your home's energy usage and doing Manual J load calculations and Manual S to correctly sizing the equipment.
Design & Construction Estimate
Based on the preconstruction design, we provide a detailed design and construction estimate that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and budget for your project.
Installation
First, we install the indoor and outdoor units in the location identified in the preconstructions phase. The system gets pressure tested and vacuumed down for the best quality install. Then they get connected to the electrical pulled from your panel.
The Finishing Touches
Once the project is complete, we focus on the finishing touches to ensure that your home is clean and ready after the installation. This includes testing your system and verifying the rooms are getting the proper airflow to insuring accurate temperature.
